Bone Grafting &

Bone Grafting & Sinus Lifts
Making Space for Strong, Stable Implants

Subtitle-2.png

Biological dentistry can sound like a “new trend,” but the heart of it is actually very simple: your mouth is part of your body—not separate from it. Dr. Tony Kim’s practice includes “Holistic or Biological Dentistry” as a core service, alongside restorative and cosmetic care.

Why grafting is recommended

  • Bone shrinks after tooth loss (this is common and expected)

  • Gum disease or infections can weaken bone

  • Upper back teeth may sit close to the sinus area

The Procedure

  1. Imaging + planning to measure bone dimensions

  2. Grafting appointment where supportive material is placed (type depends on your needs)

  3. Healing time so your body can build stronger bone

Implant placement once the foundation is ready

Benefits

  • Makes implants possible when bone is limited

  • Improves long-term stability and aesthetics

  • Helps avoid “compromised” implant placement

What to Expect

Most patients do better than they anticipate. You may have some swelling and tenderness,

and you’ll receive clear aftercare—soft foods, gentle hygiene, and check-ins.
